What makes TSFC different from other Senior Fitness websites?

Our goal at TSFC is to promote healthy living by creating good habits. We are constantly changing our programs so that our members are better served in their fitness journey.

How much is membership and can I cancel anytime?

TSFC is $29.99 a month and can be cancelled at anytime.

What sort of equipment do I need to have in order to do the TSFC workouts?

You don’t need anything! However, we recommend a pair of light and medium dumbbells. These will be beneficial in our Weight Lifting and Longevity Classes. Don’t have those? Get two soup cans and that’ll get you started!

How long are the classes?

Each class runs approximately 25-30 minutes. We try to warm up and cool down together but in the event that we run long, we will assign the cool down on your own.

How do I log into my account?

Access your account by using the login link at the top of the TSFC website.  

How do I contact you if I have issues with my account?

Use the contact form or email address listed at the bottom of the website to report any login or account issues to TSFC, and we’ll be happy to assist you!

When will my membership expire?

Your membership will expire one month from the day you sign up (for example you sign up March 17th, it expires April 17th) however you can set up automatic monthly renewals so that you can continue your training worry-free.

Is there a target age or experience level for the TSFC programs?

Not at all! You can be a newbie in the gym scene or a seasoned veteran. We are called The Senior Fitness Center but at any age you can get a great workout in.

How should I choose programs that are best for me?

Once you’re a member, you can sign up for a free, personal consultation session to review your individual needs and customize your workouts.

Can I complete the TSFC programs with an injury?

The programs at TSFC app are not customized to accommodate injuries or health concerns that could be aggravated by low, moderate or high-intensity physical exercise. Your health and wellbeing is our highest priority and we would hate for you to feel any further discomfort or potentially prolong your recovery. For this reason, if you have a pre-existing injury, we recommend that you seek clearance from a healthcare professional prior to beginning any new exercise program. If you have been cleared by your doctor or allied healthcare professional to resume exercise during your recovery, your trainer will be more than happy to help provide exercise alternatives that align with your recovery recommendations. These suggestions can assist you with returning to exercise in a safe and suitable way.

How come there is no workout for balance, injury or hip/knee replacements?

There are these workouts on the Targeting Exercises page. We change our focus regularly in this class to accommodate our clients special needs. We listen to what you want to work on and we get it done!

The Fitness Dopp Kit

A few basics we recommend here at TSFC to make any home workout a great experience.
Water Bottle:

TSFC recommends a water bottle that you can see through, like this one. The reason is you can measure the amount of water you take in per day, as well as during your exercise session!

Towel:

These microfiber towels serve two purposes. To dry you off and cool you down! Sweat is your body’s way of turning on the air conditioning. These towels assist in the natural function your body is already doing.

Weights:

Having a few sets of dumbbells or kettlebells is always a good thing. However, if you’re limited on space and want to have a good strength training device, a resistance band does it all in one shot!

Floor Pad:

The SPRI tri-fold pad is the one we use most often at TSFC because of its portability, fold away space saving, and thickness. Highly recommend this one!
